WHISTLEBLOWING CHANNEL

CARMAFIL provides this Whistleblowing Channel in accordance with Law No. 93/2021 of December 20, which establishes the general framework for the protection of whistleblowers.

Misuse of this channel or the submission of false information constitutes a serious offense, undermines its purpose, and may lead to sanctions. Reports must be made in good faith and based on solid evidence or clear certainty about the situation being reported. We recommend carefully reading the applicable legislation before submitting a report.


Whistleblower protection is guaranteed by law, and acts of retaliation are not permitted.

Anonymity will be ensured upon request and, in all cases, the confidentiality of the information provided will be maintained. Only individuals designated by CARMAFIL will have access to the shared data in order to carry out the appropriate analysis of the reports.


This channel may be used by employees, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, shareholders, members of management or supervisory bodies, as well as volunteers and interns (paid or unpaid) acting under the supervision or direction of the company.


Reports may be submitted in relation to the following areas:

  • Financial services, products, and markets; money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Product safety and compliance
  • Environmental protection
  • Breaches of the GDPR
  • Corruption and related offenses
  • Improper or unlawful conduct
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Moral or sexual harassment
  • Discrimination
  • Other relevant situations

Important: Complaints related to customer service, products, or public service should not be submitted through this channel. These matters should be reported directly to the company via email at: geral@carmafil.pt.

Upon receipt of the report, CARMAFIL undertakes to confirm receipt within a maximum period of 7 days and, whenever possible, to provide an update on the progress made regarding the report within 3 months. We recommend that you regularly check your submission record to monitor the status of your report.



Providing information in the identification fields is optional. You can only provide a contact number, which will only be used if further clarification is required by the judicial authorities or criminal police bodies. To remain anonymous, leave this option ticked. If you wish to remain anonymous in this report, make sure the box is ticked.

Submit your complaint including all the information you have, such as dates, names, telephone numbers, email addresses, vehicle licence plates, social media links or any other relevant data.
